About Phantom Strikes

We're a team of passionate Australian gamers dedicated to honest reviews, quality esports coverage, and building a thriving local gaming community.

Phantom Strikes team at gaming lounge

Born in Melbourne, Built for Australia

Phantom Strikes was founded in 2020 by a group of Melbourne-based gamers who were frustrated by the lack of Australian-focused gaming coverage. Too many reviews were written from a Northern Hemisphere perspective, ignoring the unique gaming culture, server conditions, and community events that matter to Aussie players.

We set out to change that. Today, Phantom Strikes is Australia's most trusted independent gaming platform, covering everything from AAA blockbusters to indie gems, and from grassroots LAN parties to national esports championships.

Our editorial team is based across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth — giving us genuine national coverage and a deep understanding of the Australian gaming landscape.
